About
A finger is positioned above the surface of a small tactile display with a black surface and white braille pins protruding above the surface. In the background, a graphical user interface shows a matrix of white dots outlined in black. A rectangle overlapping a circle appears as dots shaded black. The equivalent is visible in raised dots on the surface of the tactile display.

We recently made some big developments with our braille dot actuator technology. We now have a series of 210-dot prototypes with pins at 2.5 mm center-to-center spacing. We've also created a graphical user interface that allows us to draw shapes and render braille characters on the tactile surface. Check out videos of the prototypes at this link.
